How to set up wireless connection?
Install batteries in both the receiver and the pool thermometer. Place them close, and the receiver will automatically sync with the pool thermometer's data in about 2 minutes.
Is the pool thermometer waterproof?
Yes, the pool thermometer is waterproof and can withstand the conditions typically found in swimming pools and spas, making it durable for outdoor use.
Do you have to take out batteries to turn it off？
Yes, after each season of pool use, the thermometer should have the "AA"s removed from both the Sender and Receiver. Be sure to clean all surfaces of water, to prevent corrosion on battery terminals. Store in original package. Used for two years, and continues to perform as new!
Canl read temperature on pool thermometer directly?
Yes, the pool thermometer features a digital LCD display that shows the currentwater temperature in real time.
Can a single thermometer connect to multiple base stations?
Yes. The Wireless Pool Thermometer Float supports 3-channel switching, and each base station will receive signals from any sending unit transmitting on the channel you pre-selected. If a thermometer is set to transmit on channel 1, any base station set to receive signals on channel 1 will display information from that thermometer. Keep in mind that the farther the thermometer is from the base station, the weaker the signal will be. Also, interior walls will also degrade the signal. My base station is located on the interior wall closest to the outdoor thermometer and can easily receive the thermometer signal about 100 feet away, through an uncoated glass window.

Fast shipping. I was very pleased at 1st. I could see the temp of my pool from indoors. However after 3 months it just stopped working. I changed the batteries & tried several things & it just stopped working. Very disappointed. It was great while it worked, for a short time.
