This is a nice, inexpensive water tester. I use it mainly to measure TDS to verify my water filters are working and it does a great job. It compares in accuracy to the other name brand testers. It even comes with a nice carrying caring case. Overall I think it's a great deal.
Accurate water tester. Purchased to test the efficacy of our countertop RO filter and the TDS readings are fairly close. Backlit with a large font so easy to read.
The TDS meter seems accurate. My tap water reads within acceptable ranges, and my carbon drinking filter is slightly lower. I did test distilled water, and it read 0, then I added a squirt of contact lens solution just to test, and it shot up to 40. So that indicates it's working.
I actually ordered this by accident. I wanted to test the soil in my plants but ordered this water tester by mistake. I decided to keep it and try it anyway, I could use it to test the water quality for my plants. It was easy to set up and use. It came with a little case. Worked well. Easy to read.
This water tester is literally an absolute must have for any house or camping pack. It's simple, rechargeable, and works very well. I am able to get a reading in seconds and the smart design means I can collect a water sample in the testing cap itself, making everything very simple. Really clever, wish I had this years ago!
I went online and looked up the water quality in my state. The reading is in line with what my state says we should be drinking. I recommed.
The temperature can be read in either Celsius or Fahrenheit and works just fine in or out of the water. The backlit display with large characters is very easy to read, especially in low light. If you have a pool, spa, or well, this is a handy gauge to check conditions.
